IN-SECURITY ON DE BEACH....

Now tell meh why t’ings had tuh get to dis state before de State had tuh step in….?!   Ah fella get shoot by ah guard at Pigeon Point because he wanted tuh get in de place, de guard refuse, ah fight break out an’ is because ah  brudder  take he las’ breath on de beach……

Now it have two issues here as far as de Cobra  concern… first, why it have ah armed guard at de entrance to ah l’il tourist facility in broad daylight?  Dey ever had robbery or big fight dey? Noooo..…if was nighttime ah mighta say, well, bandit does move in de night an’ dem fellas carryin’ gun dese days an’ all dat….  An’ is ah 23 year old fella toutin’ gun, yuh know…. why not a more senior member of de security firm?  An’ when de shootin’ take place, dey sen’ 25 more security up dey in case ah trouble…

Now to me, if yuh fear civil riot, de people tuh handle dat is de Tactical Unit or de Police… NOT ah private security firm….!  But what de hell dis place comin’ to?!   Yuh see when yuh cyah draw de line between what is public an’ private security, dat is ah recipe for madness…   Yuh check meh Muslimeem  boys an’ dem who was playin’ bodyguard for de “Loose Waist” Danny Singh…?  A Minister suppose tuh get POLICE protection if he t’ink he under threat… so yuh see wey de trouble startin’… as usual…… so is definitely about time we move tuh have some guidelines for dem private security firms…

Again las’ week one shoot heself an’ he supervisor… supposedly over ah drop home…. time for some serious action now, because jus’ now dem badits go come wit’ dey own security firm…..

De odder point is dat de beach belong tuh everybody, so yuh cyah stop ah man from getting’ on de beach…dat is de law… so if yuh put up ah place in front de beach, yuh either have tuh let people pass or make ah passageway for dem tuh pass.. simple, no complex maths. dey…

Now de owners of de tourist place (an’ dis is wat hurtin’ meh… is  we people who want tuh stop we people from doin’ dey business…) say dey have tuh pay tuh use de facilities,  but dey doh have tuh pay tuh go to de beach…now you go follow ah man all round whole day tuh make sure he ent use any “facilities” atall…? Of course not!   So everybody who want tuh pass have tuh pay,  which is illegal…..

Solution…if yuh know is ah frequently used public place, simply tell de people doh interfere wit’ de guests, an’ have ah couple people patrollin’ around tuh ensure dat nobody eh get bother…if ah tourist complain, ask de person tuh leave de area, an’ stick tuh de beach…. or ask de trademen tuh confine deyself tuh ah certain part an’ tell de tourists if  dey want tuh buy anyt’ing, go to dat section of de compound…  

Further, yuh could only use de facilities (toilets, showers etc.,) if yuh have ah band on yuh wrist, which yuh pay for,  if yuh intend tuh use dem…. odderwis no band, no use… why man have tuh dead because of dat?  Because it have too much ignorant people on both sides of de fence, dat is why!  Now instead of bathed in sun, sea an’ sand, de place bathe in blood…..

CAUGHT NAPPING ON DE JOB

Well, we Police bounce back again dis week wit’ ah good piece ah work boy… when ah tell yuh ah feel proud…. a girl get kidnap an’ is nearly ah month she missin….I  say well dat is de end ah dat… when an’ if dey find she, is only tuh do de final rites…

Well, yuh believe we Kidnapping Unit rescue de girl, eh fire ah shot, an’ nab de kidnappers….. oh gooooood!   Maybe we coulda send dem tuh get Elian in Miami…  we woulda show de FBI ah form, eh?!  

Smooth like silk, man… Again is ah nex link wit’ Venezuela in dis case…all dem escape prisoners, all dem drug boys does always want tuh go Venezuela…like dat place real nice boy…but yuh see what we could achieve when we work togedder…? 

Normally all yuh hearin’ about is we fishermen getting’ hol’, beat up an’ shot by dem Venezuelans in de Gulf…we work togedder we save ah young girl life an’ put some nasty fellas wey de belong… yes, man, dat is de way it should be……. who eh like ah parang, ah good pastelle, ah arepa, shoppin’ or taking ah l’il weekend in Caracas?  When flood break out in Venezuela, we was dong dey helpin’ out….. we too close tuh be so far, is yuh understand what ah mean…. right, amigo?

IS TIME TUH CONVENE......

Um hmm…it really getting’ close tuh election, boy… NAR had de convention an’ elect Smart(man) as de fella tuh take dem into de battle…dat party had more leader over de past 10 years dan pothole in Trinidad road…!  At last count was six, includin’ interim leader an’ all possible combinations thereof….. dey even sell dey headquarters tuh make money for dey campaign… ah t’ink dis go be de do or die for NAR dis rounds yuh know…

Over in Tobago we have de two NAR seats, but now Pam and Deborah for de People Empowerment Party tuh put some PEP in Charlo step…division in de sister isle…de Minister of Tobago Affairs Morgan Job (Morgues), is NAR, but de head of Tobago Assembly (Charlo) is NAR too, but doh like Morgues…so wey Morgues go go… since he wasn’t dey at de NAR convention….. look t’ing!
