De tendering board reject him.. now de man is ah Minister he company submit ah bid an’ nex’ t ’ing yuh know it accept, an’ de brudder on he way…interesting, eh?
You come to my government, you get your contract… seems fair…. an’ guess who have tuh pay de bill when yuh have tuh go wit’ dem new cellular phone? Yeeesssss, de public…de Minister in charge of telecommunications jumpin’ like ah mountain chicken tuh evade confusion, but de deed done do, so what yuh go do? Take back de contract..?
Dey did try dat wit’ Ish and de airport an’ he turn round an’ sue de government, an’ on top ah dat get de contract back….. an’ now he say de airport go be late in delivery… of course it eh have no clause tuh punish him for not deliverin’ on time .. is only we getting’ punish, because is WE money spending an’ de price of de airport jus’ like ah plane…only risin’…!
But tuh get back tuh Gillette, de man say he feel ah call tuh duty an’ tuh serve, so he accept de position of (Non)Implementation Minister….. yeah, ah call to self service…. an’ duty to he company…… an’ hear de bes’ joke.. yuh does have tuh call dese fellas HONOURABLE Minister……

Hmmmm.... is really ah election year… dem vampires busy….! Dis is de same fella who withdraw from human rights conventions of de UN. So in odder words, if yuh t’ink yuh rights being infringed, yuh cyah appeal to de UN, because we doh recognise dey Human Rights Commission…
Imagine de United Nations Human Rights Commission have NO jurisdiction over T&T….. an’ den he withdraw from de OAS Human Rights conventions too…. so yuh cyah appeal tuh dem either… so if yuh rights bein’ trampled, yuh could only appeal to God…an’ jus’ now he might withdraw dat right of appeal to, at de rate he goin’….
Now dis same fella want tuh pass ah Bill concerned wit’ human rights an’ discrimination….. de man sufferin’ from “Dwenism”…he eh know if he comin’ or he goin’…! He say dat de Constitution protect de people from de government (apparently not enough!) an’ dat how it mus’ have law to protect people from discrimination by odder people… interestin’… BUT…it have ah section dat state it go have ah penalty (read lock up) for anybody who engages in activity or behaviour which can cause division, racial hatred etc……HOLD IT!

An’ sometimes yuh have tuh cause division tuh correct ah wrong.. ask all dem civil rights leaders who dead in de line of duty…dem wasn’t causin’ division too?
An’ what type of behaviour does incite racial hatred, an’ who does listen to dem clowns anyway… except Manday an’ company…?
Man have ah right tuh talk.. yuh might not like what he say, but yuh cyah deny him de right tuh say it.. yuh mad or what.... dis is China or what?
An’ if he eh sayin’ it, yuh cyah stop him from t’inkin’ it, so what is de point…? Well, if we did jus’ expand de airport instead ah buildin’ ah new one, maybe we woulda have money tuh build some low income housin’ or provide ah “gayap” scheme whereby dey could get land cheap, get some sturdy little wooden houses, an’ improve dem wit’ time… but instead dey could watch plane take off….night an’ day!
By de way, wey John “defender of squatters” Humphrey? John boy gone quiet all of ah sudden… when he was in Opposition, was talk about how people have ah right tuh land, an’ he tell dem… to hell wit’ de government…., dis is dem country…only in South Africa government does walk in people place an’ break dong dey house… if yuh hear yuh boy soundin’ off!
Now, like he get mouse medicine…he quiet! Not ah squeak! How t’ing change, eh?! De most de government could promise now I feel is to construct dem barrack like houses, an’ tell dem dey could stay dey for 3 months, den dey have tuh leave.. an’ in de meantime, try an’ work out somewhere wey dey could settle (but not for free!).
Leh we face it, not everybody could afford land or could get by like odder people…is not ah perfect society, we have tuh make allowances.. an’ if yuh t’ink ah bein’ soft, what’ about de little chilren who in dis situation dat eh contribute nuthin’ to…? Yuh go punish dem for de actions of dey parents? Nah, we could do better dan dat……
